"Iiiiiiin west philladelphia born and raised..." (YOU DRIVE ME CRAZY MANDI!) -You remember TGIF on ABC. Step by Step, Family Matters, Dinosaurs, and Boy Meets World. (Me and mom's friday nights right here) -You remember when 2Pac and Selena died. -You remember when it was actually worth getting up early (Pochahontas footie pjs, cerial and saturday morning cartoons FTW) on a Saturday morning to watch cartoons. (See above!) -You got super excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school. It was so cool. (Holy shiiiiiiiit) -You remember reading "Goosbumps" -You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school. (I had a pink barbie one with a plastic flowery handle!) -You remember the craze, then the banning of slap bracelets and slam books. (I HAD ONE! And I still do somewhere!) -You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence...Not... -You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record "Your FAVORITE song of ALL time" (Absolutley, fucking brittney spears dude..) -Where in the world is Carmen San Diego? was both a game and a TV game show. [Me too Mandi! we should find someone with some reruns!) -Captain Planet. He's a Hero. -You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green/white Ranger were meant to be together. (I Sprained my wrist and my friend broke her nose on a picnic table playing power rangers...bad bad memories..) -You remember when Super Nintendo's and Sega Genisis' became popular. (Still own both of mine too, lady!) -You always wanted to send in a tape to America's Funniest Home Videos... but you never taped anything funny. (You know you're letting me see that, mandi) -You remember watching home alone 1, 2 , and 3... and tried to pull the pranks on "intruders". -You remember watching The Magic School Bus, Wishbone, and Reading Rainbow on PBS. [Fucking LOVED Wishbone when I was little (ME TOO!)] -You remember when Yomega Yo-Yos were cool. (I still have one somewhere too!) -You remember those Where's Waldo books. (Wheres waldo + 40 minutes with my legs spread on a gyno table...I found him about 100 times) -You remember when Mortal Kombat Was "Da Bomb"! -You remember eating Warheads. (the sour candies) (I barfed something fierce trying to eat three lemon ones together one time..) -You remember watching the 1st Batman, Aladin, Ninja Turtles, and 3 Ninjas movies. (CRUSH ON BATMAN FTW!) -You remember Ring Pops. (I just had one the other day) -You remember drinkin' Fruitopia and Surge. (The pink frutopia!) -If you rmemeber when everything was "da BOMB" -When they made the new lunchables so that you could make tacos and pizza! (I always thought the pizza ones were icky!) -You remember boom boxes VS CD players -Writing M.A.S.H. notes. (and the twenty different versions of that) (I always cheated!) -Making those little paper fortune cookie things.. and then predicting your life with them. (P-u-r, p-l-e PICK A NUMBER! I SAID PICK A NUMBER!!!) -You knew all the characters names and their life stories on "Saved By The Bell" (Saved by the bell is how I know I'm going to be late for the bus, when I can hear the themesong play at 7 in the morning) -You played and/or collected "Pogs" (DUDE! I WON THE LION KING FROM A CERIAL BOX WITH MY POGS!!) -You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet or Nano and brought it everywhere. (I had like 40 and I always made my mom "babysit" them and she killed them every time!) -...Furbies. (RAH! *hides*) -You haven't always had a computer, and it was cool to have the internet. -And Windows 95 was the best. -You watched the original cartoons of Rugrats, Power Rangers, and Ninja Turtles. (I remember being in my little pink nightgowns on the edge of my moms bed with the little tiny ass tv we had that only came in color if you smacked it, watching rugrats) -You had a favorite New Kid on the block, and you knew all of their names. (OH MY GOD LET ME TELL YOU! Me and my fucking sister <3333 NEW KIDS back in the day, she went to a concert and brought me back a tshirt and I was so excited!) -Michael Jordan was a king. -Yikes pencils and erasers were the stuff! -All your school supplies were "Lisa Frank" brand. (I had the folders, the pencils, the binder, the fucking STICKERS mandi..you loser..) -You remember when the new Beanie Babies and talking Elmo were always sold out. (And crying in the middle of toyworks because I wanted a beanie baby) -You collected those Beanie Babies. -Growing Pains (The show = every night after supper, the actual PAINS of growth I still get). -Carebears and The Gummy Bear show. (Green carebear = my favorite. I have good luck bear perfume!) -Gak was the coolest thing invented. (Me too mandi, me too.) -Lambchop's song never ended. (I LOVED LAMBCHOP!!!!!!!!) -The old dollar bills. -Silver dollars were cool to have. -You remember a time before the WB. -You collected all the Troll dolls. (I still do!) -If you even know what an original Walkman is. -You remember wanting to sit on the orange Nickelodeon couch. -You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" When we were younger: -Before the MySpace frenzy... -Before the Internet & text messaging... -Before Sidekicks & iPods... -Before MIKE JONES... -Before PlayStation2 or X-BOX... -Before Sponge Bob Way Back... -When you put off the 5 hours of homework you had every night. -When light up sneakers were cool. (I had a white princess pair!) -When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs. -When gas was $0.95 a gallon & Caller ID was a new thing. (I remember us getting caller id at our old house!) -When we recorded stuff on VCRs. (I still do) -When we called the radio station to request songs to hear off our Walkmans.
